Bumbazi is centred around craft. Our bags are not produced in large factories or rushed through seasonal cycles - they are handcrafted slowly, carefully, and with intention.
Each piece requires around 33 hours of weaving, stitching, and finishing by our artisans in India. It’s a process rooted in tradition and patience, created to be traveled with for years, not just moments.
Because of this, we’ve chosen not to take part in Black Friday.
This isn’t about turning away from discounts or judging brands who offer them.
It’s simply that, in our case, placing something shaped by so many hours of human hands and heritage skill into holiday bargain culture doesn’t feel right to us.
Our bags carry generations of skill and perfected craft, and we believe that should be celebrated, not reduced to a seasonal markdown.
